My Facebook deactivation

Yes, it is true! With little hesitation I deactivated my Facebook account today. It was a bold move to take back more personal time. I had been thinking about it for a few months. I plan to spend more time blogging, getting our house ready to sell, and in reality. Yes, reality!

Love to all!

So far I don't miss it too much, although I will miss a few of the cool things about Facebook. But Holden is already excited for me! It is a great tool for business owners and for when I was planning events. I won't condemn anyone for spending time there, but only if they truly want to be there.

I have been thinking about doing the same thing for a while. I have managed to limit my time more, but still thinking about it...

Amen, Amen, Amen.
I long for the days of blogging (me, writing and reading others writing), but as my good friend Sue from Colorado said..."facebook killed the blog". Can't wait to get to writing and back to reading. I'll prolly stay on FB, but I'm hardly EVER there, anyway, so...

My husband deactivated his Facebook as well. It felt like we had a third partner in our marriage sometimes and was invading our family time. With Cliff working 25-35 hours a week and going to school FT, it was a no brainer with all we have going on.

Yeah, sorry about that MamaP. I am having a blast on other areas of interest at the moment and we may or may not make it to park day this week or this fall. Depends on the weather, if we have the good car, or if we are having fun at home. Ya never know with us. :O)
