Today we went to Kellerton, Iowa to visit friends we have known for about 5 or 6 years who live on a farm. On the way we saw this neat Santa and sleigh and took sunset photos on the way home.
We learned about their cows, horses, chickens, goats, hedge trees (and hedge apples), played on 73 giant hay bales, and Holden tested out his birthday walkie talkies. Holden did not want to leave, and when we did leave he asked to go back tomorrow. Gosh, I wish we could!
It was a reallllly fun day and I felt eternally grateful on the way home to have the freedom to meet so many wonderful people and to share this life with my boys. It was a breezy Tuesday in the 50s and it is going to a lot colder this week. So happy we were able to spend the day outdoors with friends.
Love to all on this awesome planet!
