We went to a new sculpture garden in Downtown Des Moines, Iowa. It was a beautiful fall day. The ground was a bit mushy, but that didn't stop the kids from rolling down hills and having a great time!
The sculptures were interesting as well! It was a good day overall!

i'd go there every day to walk, if i could! it has a nice walk way all around and through it. i'm sure they'll add more landscaping to it. there are over $30M worth of sculptures that were donated from the pappajohn's personal collection.
Arthur looooooves sculpture! we'll have to add this to our list of must see's on the road :)
We have a really neat Art Center in Des Moines as well. I haven't been inside in awhile (has something to do with having young ones and lots of breakables). But the rose garden has some neat sculptures as well, that are really fun to run around. I can't wait to go back inside the art center.
