This is a follow up to my post below. I couldn't really sleep much last night and got up at 7am. I decided to go to an ER before they got crowded, since I was still in discomfort and scared sh!tle$$. My husband agreed with me about this. I drove myself since the kids were still asleep and I didn't want to have to wake them. They took ex-rays and urine samples galore. They re-hydrated me since I was dehydrated from puking. The nurse said it sounded like gall bladder as well. I am healthy and nothing abnormal came back. So I have to go have an ultrasound done of my gall bladder tomorrow. But from now on I will be more careful about what I eat. If they do find anything wrong with my gall bladder, I will happily have it taken care of. I know it won't be fun, but it will be worth it. They didn't think I had an ulcer. The pain is on my right side. It seemed higher last night, like right above my naval. But then I pinpointed to my right side, and that is where it feels irritated right now. I hope whatever it is I can get past it soon and get back to not being worried about having another attack.
Thanks everyone for sharing your advice on the last post. It is appreciated!! I will keep you posted as soon as I know more. I am keeping a positive outlook. In the meantime, Jello is my friend. And I am scared to eat anything else. They told me Jello and that is what I am doing today. And tomorrow it is supposed to be clear fluids. LOL.

I am so glad you're okay!
Hope they can get you all patched up fast.
Glad to know you've been seen and will follow up. If you find considerable relief with the clear liquids diet - you can feel pretty sure it's gall bladder. My pain started like acid burn but progressed to general bad aching around my side and to my back. It usually started within a couple hours of eating a meal. I hope you get a speedy and firm diagnosis and an easy solution.
I am feeling better today. Frustrated, but better. I have to wait to get my ultrasound for my gall bladder until tomorrow. I didn't realize I couldn't eat or drink 12 hours prior. Lesson learned. Always ask! :)
Hey!
I also have had gall bladder surgery and it does sound like that may be what you dealing with. What about appendix or diverticulitis? I hope you feel better soon.
Wow Heather! I did not read your post until today! I hope you are better. My best friend had it very similar and it was gall bladder.
