That is the Iowa State Fair motto this year. And boy did we love it! And oh boy did we pay for it! We spend over $100 total on admission tickets, rides, and food. But it was a good time. We didn't make it to every place we wanted to see. We were sad Grandfather's Farm was closed this year. We didn't make it into see all the items that won blue ribbons.
We sure enjoyed seeing the cow made of butter, the Shawn Johnson (Iowa gymnast) butter girl, the Children's' Garden, the Bill Riley Talent Contest show, and of course all the animals. Both boys loved the giant slide as well! We also loved the water sprayers. It helped to cool us down. Well, Cliff wasn't bothered by the heat. When Camden fell asleep at 6:00 p.m. Cliff took Holden to the Snakes Alive exhibit. Holden got to touch a venomous snake and he loved that.
We loved the ice cream, corn dogs, lemonade, and other goodies we splurged on.
