Fifteen Things
This is an exercise I am doing for a personal growth book I am reading. I'm to name 15 things about someone I admire most. It says to make a list and then publicly read it to the person. I'll read it to him when he gets home and I'll make sure there are people in the room besides him. I may read this list to him at his birthday party in December. All sorts of people went through my mind. I wanted to name many people. I admire lots of people. For personal reasons I am going to name my son, Holden, who will be seven in December. I may do this exercise a few times, if I get time.
1. Forgiving
2. Fearless
3. Loves me unconditionally
4. Makes me feel special
5. Creative
6. Compassionate
7. Sense of humor
8. Sense of adventure
9. Loves nature
10. Helped me to grow and change after he was born
11. Knows how to stand his ground
12. Confidence
13. Ability to put people at ease
14. His smile
15. His abundant energy
I love you, Holden! I'm so glad you're my son.

Gosh, I love your puppy pictures! Looks like she fits RIGHT in so well!
We lost our sweet dog Opus about a month ago (we live on a bad road & he bolted.. you get the idea)... miss him horribly
We've got 2 new puppies... about 9 weeks old or so... wish we'd gone with an older pup for the reasons you probably went with an older pup too! This baby stuff, walk every 3 hrs, etc., arrrrrrrrrgh!! LOL
Puppies are like babies. I am glad we got an older puppy. We have our hands full with her still. We walk her two or three times a day and she has to go outside every hour she is awake when she is not walked.
Sorry to hear about your Opus! We had a dog that died almost 2 years ago.
Good luck with your puppy.
