These are a few pictures from the past week. It has been stormy on and off here. One picture is of a fire ant hill along the roadside. It is something Camden (my little one) knows about all too well. The white flowers are in bloom all over Texas. They are dooberries (sp?). I can't wait to taste them, if we are here when they are ready to eat. And the rose is one of the first to bloom this season at my sister's house. I love it! Spring is really lovely here. I can't wait to see it blooming in Iowa when we get home. See the chicken in my little one's blue rain coat? That is Jasmine. She is a sweety! The white chicken (a male) has had several names. One has stuck and it is Speedy. He escaped some dogs the other day who thought he'd make a tastey meal. Good thing he is fast and smart too!
Our days are spent checking on the chickens, feeding the chickens bugs we find, and lots of TLC time to the birds. Today we had a movie marathon--thanks to the rainy forecast and Camden has a sick bug. On Saturday we actually went swimming to the YMCA (an outdoor pool). The water was 5 degrees cooler than it should have been or it would have been a lot more fun. It was in the upper 80s this weekend which was a very rare event this time of year. We made some new friends at the pool and we were invited to their home this week. We are going over to feed their mini horse, meet their rabbit, and see their 2 story tree house. They live close by and are homeschoolers. It should be fun! I hope everyone here gets healthy soon and the weather co-ops!
I am in a hurry to call my hubby to say goodnight to him. He is still in Mississippi. He should be here soon enough. Much love to all...

I love how you are 'traveling' after all! Your days sound so lovely and joyFULL! :) Hope you had a great time with your new friends. That's one of the best things about being 'on the road', the people we meet and often have long time relationships with. Hugs to you all from us!
