Full moon is in the air

Cliff is going to be here tomorrow night. We all have a virus (we think 5th Disease or slapped cheek syndrome). The virus is nothing serious, but a bit annoying. Camden has been hit the worst and up a lot at night wiggling and coughing the past few nights. So, I am a bit tired and cranky, but so glad Cliff will be here soon. He is renting a car in the morning because I was way wrong about being able to get a cheap airline ticket. I feel like a big huge dork! Last minute was not the way to go on that deal! At least he didn't go berserk on me and it was his idea to rent a car to save $.
Anyone notice how early Easter is this year? I didn't think it was out of the norm, but apparently it is the earliest it has been since 1913. And it won't be this early again for 277 years (March 22, 2285). I knew Easter was determined by the full moon. I always wondered why it wasn't a set date. Different cultures have a different schedule for Easter. In America it is determined this way: Easter falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon of the Spring Equinox. And tonight is the first full moon of spring!
Spring comes really early here in Texas. I have been enjoying some lovely spring flowers on my daily walks around the block. Today I brought my camera on my walk (hence the photo of the flowery yard). Flowering trees and shrubs are exploding here! The wildflowers are going crazy as well.
The photo of the moon is when it was rising last night in the east. It didn't capture the real beauty of the moment. The sky was more pink and the moon looked much closer and larger.
Happy Spring and Happy Easter all!
