Julia's kids have an awesome and inspiring nature display on their front porch. The nature display photos you see here was inspired by Julia and her kids! It is in Holden's bedroom and has a glass door to, hopefully, keep wandering hands (Camden) from taking from Holden's collection. Holden collected fall leaves today! It is that time of year here!
We enjoyed our time at Julia's, and I am so grateful to her for her patience with me. I have just recently put the dolls on Craigslist in Des Moines. Hopefully we'll get a decent trade offer for the dolls.
By the way, the skull in Holden's collection was found several years ago when we were on a camping trip at Backbone State Park in NE Iowa. I did a lot of digging on-line to learn about the skull. I believe it was some sort of fox or a raccoon. I have to research again. I wish I would have labeled it.

What a very cool idea!! I love it! Maybe you could myspace me your address and we could do a nature exchange from each other's towns:) We did an exchange last year and got a nest and a katydid but I don't really know what to do with them; now I know, a nature cabinet!!
That would be fun!!!! I will email you my address!!
