Out on the farm

Farmer and his (pretend) wife at the 1900 Farm.
They are volunteers at the farm.
Camden leaving the chicken coop with a butterfly he caught and then let go soon after.

A very tall windmill.
We went to Living History Farms with friends this morning. It was the most beautiful fall day ever!!! We had a great time!!!! We were there about 4 hours and we saw all the farms. We didn't get to go into every building or learn about everything there was to know, but it was a lot to do in one day with 4 kids--two of them not quite 3 yet. Although we rode the tram a few times and the horse carriage once, we still walked a ton! It is a huge place. Holden's favorite was the gift shop and riding the horse carriage. He bought some rocks for his nature cabinet and an Indian arrowhead necklace. What a neat place. But not really kid friendly for real little ones. It is a museum of old buildings and artifacts on display. It is hard for little ones to resist touching EVERYTHING. I'm still glad we had the chance to go and I would like to go again in the future.
