Manic Panic!

Live Fast and Dye your hair is the motto of Manic Panic's semi- permanent hair color cream! I dyed a few strands the other day with this stuff and because my hair is so healthy it washes out easily. So I decided to use it on all my hair while the kids were asleep. I left it on for half an hour and used a dryer on it for a few about 10 minutes. It mostly showed up on strands that were gray or lighter from a previous highlight I did in May. I still have half a jar left of this color (Red Passion).

Last night I washed two small sleeping bags and somehow flooded my sister's washroom floor. Hmmm. I needed a little pick me up today and now every time I look in the mirror I hope I take myself and life less seriously!! Sally's Beauty Supply in Conroe is so awesome! I wanted to dye my hair bright pink. I told the lady at the check out that if this color turns out cool I will do hot pink next time. She said she hoped it turns out good because she would hate for me to miss out on the pink because life is short and you only live once! She added that you can't spend your life worrying about what people think because then the only person that matters (you) is the one left unhappy. She was full of wit and life.

Before we went to Sally's the other day all 3 of us got our hair cut. I was really nervous about letting someone new cut my hair. But I wanted it trimmed, and didn't have a choice since my usual person is 900 miles away in Iowa. It worked out well because one of the stylists had her daughter (8) with her. Her daughter had a back pack full of Pokemon figures she shared with my boys while we were there taking turns getting our hair cut. It was a pleasant surprise for my boys to have play time and the little girl was glad too. It made our day to get pampered and not butchered! Even Camden is acting different with his new do!

Today we went to a park for a little bit, but it started to rain after we were there for a few minutes! The kids played in the rain for a bit. On the way we saw a road runner with a snake in it's mouth. It was really cool!! I need to get more pics of the trees around here. It is so peaceful here. But I am afraid urbanization will move in sooner or later. The pics of me are from the front and back porch views.

Hope you are having a sunny day!!!
