Happy May

May has been awesome except that Cliff is in California still. We miss him! However, the kids and I are not having a problem staying out of trouble. We have been having the best week. On Tuesday we went to a friend's for May Day and had a little gathering of kids. Also, I have hit the gym a few times and am feeling good...awesome stress relief and my energy level is up.

Today our little town had its annual garage sale event. We must have hit about 20 garage sales and drove passed at least 20. Camden got a two wheeler bike with training wheels for $2. And we finally broke down and bought a gaming system. I wasn't really looking, but I found a Game cube (and Gameboy) that plays Gameboy games too. It came with two controllers and about 15 games. It is all very kid friendly. Our neighbor kids have been here all day helping us figure it all out. And I splurged and bought myself a bike. I had fun riding it around a bit this afternoon. I am hoping to get a seat for the back for Camden or a trailer. It is very slow going up the hills without him. But I will find a way to ride it with him. I have always loved to bicycle.

I am still working on losing weight. I have put on muscle and not losing as much as I'd like, but I feel stronger and healthier. I'm heading out tonight to meet friends for karaoke. I'm really excited! It is a girl's night out kind of thing and much deserved for this girl.
