Happy Birthday Cliff
Cliff's birthday is Tuesday, Nov. 7th. We celebrated it on Sunday as a family. To save time I baked him a yummy birthday cookie. I used the pizza cutter to slice it and skipped the frosting. It had at least one stick of butter already and lots of sugar. LOL. We just enjoyed our family time before he had to go back to work this week. He worked on the basement, we went to the park, we had a date while the kids slept, we watched some movies, lost our dear friend Shadow and he had to bury her. It was an emotional roller coaster weekend. But we were glad Cliff came home and he had some nice down time, I hope. The boys really miss their daddy during the week and I sure miss his company and help around here. At least this is temporary. This is just as hard on Cliff. He is working long days and outside too. He is getting in better phyical shape too. Not that he is in horrible shape. I think he looks good for 36.
Happy 36th Birthday Cliff and many more!!!
As you see the boys still have their rub on tattoos from Halloween. I checked out a book today from the library to read with Holden about losing a pet. Camden is so young he can't understand what happened. I was just glad they weren't with me to see the accident. I may look into another book that was suggested to help sort out my feelings. It was like losing a good friend. I have some issues to work out in my head because I witnessed the accident and feel somewhat responsible for her death. At least the weather will be nice to get outside in this week! The dog days of fall are back!
