Well, Cliff certainly thought I was CRAZY for thinking I could barter my way to getting us a bus. He bursted my bubble and made me start to wonder why we should deserve such a miracle.
It was a fun thought anyway!! Good thing I am not a push over though....hahahahah! I told him it may worth looking into anyway. So I have been learning more about trading up and bartering. If nothing else I am learning some interesting things that will come in handy down the road.
I listed more things on ebay today and Cliff is going to work tomorrow for the Navy Reserves just until he gets a better job offer. There are lots of things in the works and he is hopeful to get something decent soon.
It's been rainy here this week. It seems fall is officially here to stay. Cooler temps and rain is a sure sign. I've been going thru the boys' fall/winter clothes. Holden is loving all the warmer items in his dresser to wear. He changes his clothes alot and has his own tastes about what is cool. He's a riot! Now I just have to decide what summer clothes to put away. Not my favorite thing to do but it has to be done to make room in their drawers.
Cliff went to the chiropractor last week and he says his ribs and elbows feel better. The doc adjusted his elbows too and suggested taking B-6. Hopefully he will fully recover soon. His elbows had been hurting for months. Maybe it's a good thing he has not been working, so he can heal faster from his "tennis elbows."
Holden has been making forts with sheets a lot lately. Today they fought over marbles though. Camden threw something at Holden and Holden cried. Camden hugged him to say he was sorry. These days when we are stuck inside most of the time can be crazy. Holden was playing in mud at one point though and I was glad he stopped before Camden woke up from his nap. Last time they played in mud Camden came in covered and walked thru the house with muddy feet. It was a funny site but with the cooler temps he'd be cold and miserable. Holden hasn't seemed too bored and hasn't asked for his friends much since school started. But it helps that he sees them after school and sees his homeschool friends regularly now.
Hopefully we'll have some fun fall days! It looks like the weather is going to be decent the rest of the week. Just in time for park day on Wednesday...
