One last HURRAH at the pool
Although we were outside almost all day yesterday I wasn't sick of being outside! I realized all the public pools in town are closed or closing soon. So I called our local pool to learn tomorrow is the last day for the year. Well we paid bills and didn't want to feel guilty for spending money we don't have. So what did we do?? Why we collected up some pop cans and had enough to go to the pool! So off we went to have one last hurrah.
Holden learned to swim under water earlier this summer with the help of his cousin Robbie and his cheerleading mother and aunt Heidi! It was an awesome summer watching him swim under water. Camden likes to dunk his own head under water and pretend to swim (in shallow water). Some people have commented on how unusual it is for such a young boy to do that. We know why he does it! He wants to do everything Holden does!
Camden roamed around the pool looking at everyone and everything while Cliff and I watched and laughed.
Maybe we can dig up enough spare change to go again tomorrow??

It was really a scorcher today! Good idea to go to the pool! Was that the pool in your little town? Hmm - last day tomorrow, huh?
Why yes, it's our local pool in our tiny town. Tomorrow is the last day! They are open 1pm to 5pm only.
I'm really glad we went. It was packed though! Most of the crowd took off by 3:30 though.
