The fog is lifting

Writing is like driving at night in the fog. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.

Finally, I am moving past living in my head and fogginess of late. I allowed myself some real grieving time and down time. Right now I am trying to focus on the present and can't help but be thrilled about the spring equinox. We have a lot to be grateful for despite some tough challenges in the past year.

So, now that all that is behind me--I am realizing how fast the next few months and next year will pass. Honestly, I am having to work on keeping myself positive. I know that seems so strange for me. I have had to work really hard at staying positive the past few months. I hope this fog and difficult winter is behind me for good.

Here's to new beginnings and an awesome spring!!! Love to all!!! I hope your spring is off to a wonderful start, too.

My trumpeting sounds like a goose farting in the fog.

It is frustrating to feel like you're in a fog and hope everyday will get better. At least I knew it would get better. But it felt like a long wait. Now that we have the sun and warmer days it is lot easier to smile and be cheery.
