Inner thoughts and gratefulness

Just thinking to myself today how soon this year is coming to a close and how much we have to be grateful for. Last year at this time I was in the hospital for a week and really ill. We have lost some dear loved ones this year and the holidays will be a bit awkward. But we have a lot to be thankful for otherwise. We are going to be with family for the Christmas holidays and New Year's Eve. Thanksgiving we will be at home as a family. Cliff has spent much less time this year dealing with car problems since we got rid of two beater cars last year. We love our 2002 Suburban and are excited about all the travels we will make in it, and have made since getting our Burb May. We are preparing to fill out our passport paperwork to go through Canada in June on our way to Alaska. It is a dream come true. And we still have high hopes of going to live overseas or South America when Cliff finishes school to earn his 4 year degree. He has changed his major again, thank goodness. Education was not what he had expected AT all. I am sure it would have been a trying experience for him, us being unschoolers and all. He truly sees how schools undermine children and humans in many ways in order to maintain classroom control. We wish everyone could experience self education and love of learning. All is well here. Love to all our friends and family at this special time of year. We hope you take the time to be grateful for all and see the good in the world.

Love to all!
