We went for a hike at Walnut Woods State Park with some friends and our girl Shadow. We were planning to have a picnic at the river and waters were up to the river bank. We were bummed. A few of these photos are from Monday when we hiked at Brown's Woods by the river and river bottom, we got lost trying to find our way back to the trail. We found some houses to the west and asked for a ride to our car. Today we took a compass Holden owns to Brown's Woods after Walnut Woods was a bust. We didn't need the compass. We never made it to the river bottom today. We had Camden with us and he has not been feeling himself (full of energy). So we hung out by the waterfall and bridge for a few hours. It was a lovely 70ish fall day to be out. The weather will be back in the 50s in a few days. We wanted to enjoy it!
