Forget waiting for a school snow day! We get them all the time as unschoolers. Aint life grand?! Growing up in Texas I didn't get the full understanding of liquids freezing at 32 degrees F. in real life until I moved north. I understood it from books we were shown at school in Texas. But my boys sure do understand the freezing point! The best way to learn about life (science) is to go out and live it. Here is a video of us on the lake near our house.
