Amusements of late

We have been doing a lot of different things since Cliff (hubby) arrived over a week ago. We promised my brother-in-law we'd help him build a garden. We started that on Friday. On Saturday night Cliff and I went on a date while the boys stayed with my sister and her husband. It was nice to go out. On Thursday night we went to a place called Incredible Pizza in Conroe. We met up with the friends we made at the YMCA pool two weeks ago. Incredible Pizza is a blast for kids. They have a huge pizza buffet plus mini golf, mini bowling, go carts, bumper cars, laser tag, video games, etc. Our friends lead a kid night a few times a month and they invited us to that, so it seemed like a good night to go. On Sunday (yesterday) we went to their house. They practically live in my sister's back yard. But there is no thru road so it is more like 10 minutes away. Their place is really awesome! They moved here from Cali a few years ago when the housing market was booming there. So, they were able to get a really nice house that has 12 acres of land with a pool, a golf cart, and a mowing tractor. They had a miniature horse, a four wheeler, and a two story tree house on top of all that. We were in heaven with these homeschoolers. They were incredibly adorable and friendly people. They had three daughters and a son. They are huggers too. Both boys want to go back very soon.
Today we have errands to run and we are really enjoying our time with Cliff and family in Texas. We miss Iowa too. But for now we are feeling superbly lucky and fortunate to be where we are in life.
