Next adventure?

Camden taking a break from feeding the goats at the zoo.
The guys at the Sea lion pool at our local zoo. Nice and sunny morning!

Cliff and sleeping little one. They had lots of bonding time like this.

Holden and the baby goats at our local zoo.

Some are bare and some are not...

Our trees will be bare soon.

Looking up into fall branches.

Little one at a small pumpkin patch.

Taken a week ago. Leaves have really starting to fall and change even more. Some leaves are in our yard.

Well, little did I know that when I got back from Texas I would be spending so much time with my mother-in-law and that she would pass away. And that because of her illness and impending death, my husband would come home for a month when I didn't expect to see him until sometime next spring. Now my mother-in-law is gone, and my husband just left today for how long, we don't really know. I am trying to stay focused on the positive and looking for the next chapter in our adventurous life. I was just getting used to handling everything on my own too! But it was good to have him home. I worked my butt off at times and got spoiled too. I am grateful for all the nice things my husband did to help me while he was here. But gosh the man has some serious energy!!! It is going to take me a few days to recover from the past month. I made sure to steal some time to myself while he was here and with him of course (12th Wedding Ann. was Sunday :). We got a little taste of what to expect when he returns home for good. It will be an adjustment at times. But we will do fine. He has job ideas lined up for when he gets back. He will miss us very much and have a hard time getting back to military life the next week. The time difference and two days of traveling are very hard as well. He is having a hard time with the fact that he can't pick up the phone to call his mom; something he was good at for the most part.

One adventure coming up is Halloween. The kids have their costumes (Ninjas) and I am still trying to decide what I want to be. We have a party to go to Saturday and on Tuesday is our neighborhood day to go door to door. It is going to be nice weather wise, so it will be fun! And next week we have another party to go to. We won't have a hard time looking for fun, or work to do. I'll be busy getting leaves picked up and gutters cleaned over the next few weeks as well. And I have put off dentist appointments and a few other things. But that is all part of the adventure.

I have lots to share, but not a lot of time at the moment. Love to all!!!!
