Sorta homeward bound

What is making it easy to get our stuff gathered today is the fact that we will see Cliff for several days in a row (Thursday afternoon thru Tuesday at 4am). He has to work some on Friday and Sat. Then we will be heading home which is going to be bitter sweet. We are ready to go home, but it is not going to be easy to say goodbye to Cliff!! We are all very excited about seeing him. My biggest regret is the realization that these days are going to go very quickly. We will be shedding buckets come Tuesday morning when we part ways. In the meantime, we will make the most of everything!!

We had a great time in Austin visiting family. We met my cousin's first born child yesterday on our way back to my sister's. She is precious--and I am so happy for my cousin and his wife! I don't have pics! I need to get a bigger memory card for my camera, but I really just want a new camera since mine is 5 years old--and has some buttons that stick.

Gizmo (one of my sister's cats)

Looking east on my sister's street. I will miss it here and miss my sister very much. I can bike around the block (1.8 miles) and not pass one moving car---but almost got run over by a family of deer today.

Her mailbox and looking west on her street.

Sleeping Camden in the bike trailer after a bike ride with me today. Ignore the camera dates. I must have messed w/ something on my sis' camera. Ooops.

I will be sure to blog when I get home. But it may not be for another week and a half. We had a few problems at our house due to a storm a few weeks ago. Luckily, it was minimal damage....just a power outage situation which is about resolved. Can you say, "stinky frig??" Hopefully nothing much else was affected. I am just grateful to friends and neighbors for getting the frig out and power back on.

Peace to all!
