We braved some seriously strong winds yesterday! We all hurried to the basement when Cliff saw a funnel type cloud swirling above our house. We had two friends call us to tell us we better be in the basement about the same time. It is nice to know we have friends who care. We were lucky a tree didn't land on our house, only our car. Neighbors from all over came to get the tree out of the road and off Cliff's car. It was quite a day! I know I said I wasn't going to blog, but here I am. Cliff is on his way home from getting an estimate on the damage to his car. I am exhausted and emotionally drained. We all are. But we are troopers and will be o.k.
Here are some more pics from yesterday. Maybe I can concentrate on packing for Texas and helping Cliff pack for tomorrow. I think we have seen and done all we can for now. Even taking in a baby bird which we left with a friend on accident. Oopps.

Glad to hear you are all OK, except the car. Tried to call a couple times and got a busy signal. My SIL lives south of you by the grocery store -- no electricity, partial roof, etc. Best, Julia
