Goodbye for now

It was emotional today at the airport but also exciting. We will miss Cliff very much over the next few months, but we will see him in Gulfport, MS in August before he heads to Iraq. That helps ease the pain a little. Cliff already called me for a minute from his lay over in Dallas. He misses us already!

I am packed and ready to leave very early tomorrow! The kids are playing with water balloons with some friends/neighbors right now. Everyone (neighbors, family, friends) are going to miss us this summer and are being so supportive! Cliff's mom, sister, and brother and four friends and their kids came to the airport today. There was a delay so we went to McDonald's to let the kids play. It helped to make it not such a sad time!

We have lots of stuff to keep us busy on the two day car ride down to Texas. It should be a good trip. Hot, but good. Cliff changed my oil and my van is running good for being 10 years old. I packed it with lots of stuff to enjoy in Texas! Wish us lots of luck and I'll be blogging later this week once we get there and get settled at my sister, Heidi's place.
