Friends galore!

We are having a nice week here. The boys have had lots of fun days with friends and with Cliff and I as well. Today we went to park day to meet friends (see pic). And this evening the kids and I went down to the lake to relax and cool off. Cliff had to work on some on-line tests. He has been working like mad to get some stuff done for the Navy before he leaves in a week and a half.

It was a good turn out at the park today. There were lots of moms and kids. It was so fun to see everyone!! I filled about 100 small water balloons to take with us and the kids loved it. All the moms were so kind and signed the card for the Lehr family in Texas. We got this nice group shot with Isaac's Rock (see June1 post for more info). See me with the rock and some of us doing the peace sign?

We are working on getting ourselves to Texas this summer and Cliff is working on getting deployed. I have to share the computer with Cliff but lately we aren't home much. We have been doing lots of little outings as a family. It has been nice here weather wise and the next week and a half are going to go too quickly!!! Family walks, swimming, and biking riding are helping to keep us sane. The pressure to bond again as a family and stay bonded is high. But overall we are doing well. It is an emotional time for us but we will make it.

Peace and love to all!!!

Awesome! It's definitely the people in our lives that make everything so worthwhile. It's the reason we came back to Alaska, or at least one of the reasons. We will be thinking a lot about your family as you prepare for Cliff's deployment. Lots of good energy your way girl!!
