A few more things

We did make it swimming today. We swam in the kid area and then moved to the lap pool. I did as many laps as I could while Holden and Robbie swam a few laps with a kick board or noodle. Camden played by the side part of the time and at other times I held him or swam with him in my back. It is supposed to get up to 91 degrees today. The pool closed after we were there for an hour and a half due to a small storm coming. Now it is bright and sunny outside again. Hopefully we can go back again tonight or tomorrow. Camden puts his head under water and likes to kick with his feet out behind him. Holden likes to swim under water to me or by himself. He started swimming last summer with the help of his cousin Robbie, me, and my sister. Next summer he will most likely take lessons somewhere.

Holden is very interested in taking a few riding lessons while we are Texas. I am going to talk to the person in charge of the YMCA equestrian center in Conroe. She can probably direct me to someone since the YMCA only takes on kids 8 and older for lessons.

I am trying to get caught up on blog reading. I read my sister-in-law's blog--Denise's Moving Castle. She had a nice post on there about her brother, my hubby. It almost made me cry. I am trying to remain positive and strong about all that is going on. So far I am doing well. I know this is going to be a hard year, but I hope to make the most of it and stay busy! Cliff told me the other night that he is either going to be sent to Fellujah or Baghdad. His voice seems uncertain and tired on the phone. I know he is going through a lot of adjustment right now and is probably worried about what he will face once he lands overseas in September.

I think that is all for now. Camden is asleep on the couch and the other two boys are coming in from outside. Have a happy weekend!!
