In like a lion

March has blown in like a lion here. Due to a winter storm warning public schooled kids got out at noon in our little town--which means the little boy I watch after school was here for over 3 hours this afternoon. How I wished they could have gone outside to play. It was rather loud at times but we made it. The freezing rain and snow we were supposed to get don't look like much to worry about so far this afternoon; and the weather reports kept our helper from coming over today to work. Oh well. And Cliff couldn't work today because they got about 10" of snow and the roads were slick from ice too. Some interstates are closed down, so hopefully he can make it home for the weekend. He has the Navy Reserves this weekend again. We ran to the store early just in case and we plan on staying in for the rest of today. NOW, it looks like a blizzard outside and the roads look icy! Maybe this month will go out like lamb?

It's been almost a week since I lost the baby in my belly. Physically I am feeling as good as can be expected. Emotionally I am up and down. But not too bad. I am feeling hopeful about the future, no matter what it holds. My boys are so cool and so fun. I'm really glad we chose the parenting path and life learning path we are on instead of school/preschool. They are learning so much at home and have so many interests. They say the neatest stuff and surprise me everyday with things they have learned on their own.

We have been eating good here this week...lasagna and chicken (thanks friends)! Our friends and my sister, Heidi have been so kind. Even Cliff has been sweet to me when he calls. Well that's just a short update. We have been able to get out to do one fun thing this week and several errands. Duty calls--I am being beckoned to blow bubbles now.

Love to all! (pics from today; some pics from the last snow/ice storm over the weekend; one of Camden's loves: puzzles--he has a lot of them! These are really easy for him but he loves them anyway and does them over and over; Camden playing Reader Rabbit on CD ROM; and our newly painted kitchen--it was bright and cheery peach color--now it is as nuetral as can be to sell. Except the old cabinets.)
