After the basement is done we will be quite close to getting our house ready to sell. We have several houses very near us that just went up for sale by owner. Their's are more expensive than ours. It's amazing how many houses are just sitting on the market. I hope ours doesn't take too long to sell. Finacially we just can not make the payments anymore. I am a little sad about having to sell it. But once we get on the road, and see new sights it will be worth it. Right now all our fun $ is being sunk into our house payments. Ouch. And not to mention a lot of free time is spent on getting it ready to sell. But hopefully all this time and effort will pay off.

Good luck on finishing and selling your house. Been there! We were pleasantly surprised we were able to sell our home for more than we thought it was worth. It was really tiny but we landscaped the property really nice. We had TONS of flowers outside and that was a huge selling point. Hope when you do sell your home it sells fast so you can get start traveling!!
Oh Heather, I feel ya!! We are in the same boat right now and not liking it. You will be relieved once it is sold and, if you are anything like me, you will love the simplicity of the bus!! Ditto to the 'hang in there'!
