Jack Frost was here and more snow!

On Saturday morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise with heavy frost covered trees and bushes. It was a sparkly and happy sight! And then today (Sunday) we woke up to at least 4" more of snow on top of the snow we got last weekend. The temps were perfect for getting outside to sled and shovel! The wind was calm and it was in the mid-20s. Not the single digits we have been know to have after a snowfall. I even went out to check it out and pull the boys on the sled a little.

It is pretty but don't get me wrong! I would rather be swimming with manatees or on a sunny island somewhere. I grew up in Houston, Tx and I can't say I have ever gotten used to this cold and dark time of year. Not that it isn't dark there in winter. But with two little boys it is hard to get out much this time of year. By the time I get them all bundled up I am too tired to get myself bundled up only to go out for a few minutes. LOL.
