When we woke up yesterday it was cloudy, so when the sun appeared we were all thrilled!!!!There's no snow on the ground!!! The ground is still VERY wet and squishy though. Thankfully we don't live near a river, because there are a lot of rivers cresting in Iowa. As promised, we had a marshmallow roast yesterday. Holden requested s'mores, so when I went to refill the propane tank for our grill I bought some chocolate. We already had the graham crackers. The possum under our deck chewed up some important items under our grill and Cliff replaced some parts so we could use our grill yesterday.

he sun is out again and we are so thankful!!!! It has been tooo dreary here. Also, I am making a small request: "S'MORE sun please!!!!" And no more rain or flooding. Love to all!!!~Heather

That looks lovely! Except for the lack of leaves it almost looks like summer there:) We are melting like crazy- it won't be too long! By the time you get here it will be nice and warm...............I hope! Here's to a FABULOUS summer!!
It is back to blah today, but it is supposed to be sunny again soon. I am all out of motivation to be "sunny" without the sun. Wahh. So I am ready to see some mountains and oceans now. Yes, Alaska will be nice!!!

The no shirt kills me, too. You'd think it was 70 or 80 degrees here and not in the low 50s. He is the first one to ask if anyone wants to jump on the trampoline with no shirt on, too.
