My sister, Heidi in Texas has kept me well informed about the Carolina Wren that made a nest on her back porch when we were visiting her. She had five baby birds a week or so ago. I am sad I didn't get to see them hatch, but so glad we didn't disturb her (mama Carolina Wren) process. Every day we checked to see how many eggs were in the nest. We never touched the nest though. She made her nest in a pony tail palm that was on a plant stand. Her nest is beautiful! She made it so snug we didn't even know it was there until I walked by the plant and she flew away one day--and came back later. Life is so precious! Well, I gotta get back to folding laundry and putting away dishes. Fun, fun! ;)
