...with some soon to be free range chickens. This was taken on Tuesday at Sugar Creek Farm in Iowa. We got to see where our yummy eggs come from, pick up more eggs, and leave empty cartons, too.
It was a really fun afternoon of playing (getting muddy) by their creek and hanging out with the awesome mama who runs the farm! I met her at our park days. She also unschools. She is getting goats and a now has a llama. What a cool world it is!!!! Can't wait to see her llama and goats this summer. But she's too busy for park days now that her really busy season is here. She's busy planting and other things. Can't wait to buy some home growns from our farmer friends.
