Our November's snowy end

"November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn comi
ng late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring."

- Clyde Watson

Yesterday was dreary and snow drizzly, but nothing was sticking. This morning we woke up to a winter wonderland, and it snowed on and off all day. We didn't get a lot of snow and it was perfect out for the kids to get out and play! Holden got new snow pants and snow boots today. Camden was already set, so he was out early this morning having snowball fights with Cliff and I. Cliff pulled him on the sled a little as well.

A few nights over the weekend I helped Camden build a Lego car. It was a lot of fun. It has flip up doors, like a DeLorian from Back to the Future. Yesterday we had friends over to play WoW and watch a movie with us. It was a nice weekend to just hang out at home. This week we have some outings planned and I am excited. One is the dentist for the kids, but I don't mind. I haven't really gone anywhere fun with the boys in awhile due to the crazy month we had.

I am looking forward to December. It is one of my favorite months because we have two birthdays to celebrate and Christmas is a festive time as well. So far I have not bought any Christmas gifts and I am not too worried about it. I keep making suggestions to Camden about what I want to get him. I asked if he wanted a mini trampoline for the basement. He said no. He wants balloons. I asked if he wanted a machine to sing with (karaoke) and he said no. Everyone in my family and Cliff's family knows we don't go nutso on gift giving or buying. I ask people not to buy us anything. I just tell them to buy something for themselves. I figure it is easier on everyone's nerves that way. LOL. This year I plan to only send cards to three people because they don't have email. The rest of the people will get en e-card with a Christmas note. I may cave on that though. I love sending out photos to family. I haven't gone shopping in a few weeks. We are really tight on money because Cliff's new junker car. We just hope we can get it running and have some money left over. LOL. Not complaining, just stating facts. I'm a really simple person and I try not to complicate life anymore than needed.

Life is good right now and I am grateful for all.

Peace and joy to all!

All that snow looks fun. BTW, like the new layout of the blog.

Take care,
