My wild things and I have been digging the wild life here in Texas. We have had so many encounters the past two days it is hard to recount them all: walking stick, bats, deer with fawn(s), birds of all kinds, the neighborhood Guinea hens, stray dogs, and my sister's cats--Tara and Gizmo. We are treasuring our time here and will be glad to get back here after our other adventures. It is hard to imagine what my life will be like when I am back in Iowa this fall with the boys. I'm sure it will be fine. But life in Texas has sure been fun so far.
