Firecrackers

We lit up some faces last night with a variety pack of fireworks. My brother helped light them up and the boys were all excited. We have another pack of fireworks to use tonight.
It was a cloudy and cool summer day for Texas. It has been rainy this week and nice to get out except when the mosquitoes are biting. Holden found a butterfly and played with a a frog and a toad. We also had a tadpole but it got killed by Camden not being gentle. I saw a roadrunner the other day while I was on a bike ride by myself. I love bike rides and walks here because we always see something we don't normally see, so it makes it very interesting.
Cliff has been calling everyday. He had to work on July 4th and the day before they had a 10" monsoon. His days are long and he is doing a lot of training that he says is not what he had expected. So far he says not enough that will save his life in Iraq, except maybe gas mask training and gun firing.
We are enjoying our time with my sister. The past week and a half have gone quickly. My little firecracker boys keep me busy!
