A New Week

This weekend it turned cold after above normal temps for some time now. It started snowing on Saturday and I am not sure how many inches we accumulated. It doesn't look like more than 5" or 6". This afternoon it was 9 degrees and -1 with windchill. The boys went out yesterday. Holden went out many times yesterday to check out the snow and to sled with friends. It was in the 20s yesterday though. Camden went outside this afternoon for at least 10 minutes. He enjoyed it a lot. Several times before that over the past 24 hours he had gone out for a few minutes or less. Burrr mommy! Holden seems to tolerate the cold better than I expected. He was reluctant about his snow boots until this morning. He knew he had to wear them today.

Now that we have a basic DVD player we joined Netflix. It has been fun to rent movies we haven't seen. We had been watching them on our computer and it didn't always work so well. The kids and I saw My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service. I watched "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" with Holden. We enjoyed them all. Over the weekend Cliff and I saw "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Invincible" which Cliff (sports junkie extreme) requested. "LMS" was laugh outloud funny, but not a young kids movie. "Invincible" was good for a sports movie. Cliff really enjoyed it and it was a good date movie. It's nice to be pregnant and have a good excuse to cuddle up and relax once in awhile!

We're still plugging away on getting the basement done. We bought the last round of drywall yesterday (5 sheets). It will get put up when Cliff is home next weekend. This weekend Cliff and Holden put mud and tape on the drywall seams. It takes 3 coats of mud on the seams.

I'm feeling more like myself everyday and building up my stamina. Not quite ready to run a marathon (LOL) but getting there. I hope wherever you are you are warm and dry!! Have a fun week! My Internet time is limited since I don't burn the midnight oil these days; so off I go...Peace!

Oh yes! Little Miss Sunshine! One of my new favorites. I'm glad you are feeling more yourself, Heather. I know it's so hard to feel yucky, and have your man gone, and have 2 little boys who need you.
Oh, and we've been diggin' the mid 60's here! :)
And it'll be YOU soon!
